ALECTIA is consultant on the 13,000 m² total renovation of the eastern and western treatment wings and smaller renovation works on the intermediate building connecting the two wings of the hospital of Glostrup. The project also includes a smaller renovation of the Glostrup Children’s Hospital and the Medical Library building situated in the adjoining Science Park.

The comprehensive 13,000 m² renovation on Glostrup Hospital includes, among other things, replacement of windows and all technical installations, and new modern Laminair Air Flow operating theatres, that are rebuilt to accommodate the most modern auxiliary equipment.  

The existing chapel building functioned as rehousing centre for the department in the western treatment wing to maintain full operations during the renovation period. For the benefit of patients and staff, the wing was screened efficiently and cut off from the other wings and buildings during the renovation

Long-term collaboration
The collaboration between ALECTIA and Glostrup Hospital has lasted for many years. Among other things, ALECTIA has advised Glostrup Hospital on an animal stable project, kitchen project, physical and psychical working environment, ophthalmological department, lean-project and elaboration of master plan.
